Government Grants

Magellan Earth adheres to the requirements of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) which provides financial incentives by way of the government's Low Carbon Build Grants for the installation of Ground Source Heat Pumps in your home, office or residential community.

Under the UK Government's Low Carbon Building Programme, grants of up to £2,500 per property are available for the installation of MCS certified microgeneration technologies by certified installers. The grant covers a range of buildings including households, community organisations, public, private and the non-profit sectors.

All our Transen Ground Source Heat Pumps are MCS approved and we only used certified MCS installers.


Energy Suppliers

The Government's Energy Efficiency Commitment (EEC) has been replaced by the Carbon Emission Reduction Target (CERT), this means energy suppliers with a certain number of customers operating in Great Britain are obliged to achieve targets for improving home energy efficiency. The suppliers therefore provide a range of offers which significantly reduce the cost of installing energy efficiency measures. What's more, you can take up offers from any of the energy companies, regardless of who supplies your gas and electricity.
